Eh!Woza and Ikamva Youth

Imaging Africa spent an afternoon interacting with dedicated highschool students from the Eh!Woza and Ikamva Youth programs. The students spent an afternoon interacting with all Faculty members and were immersed in the world of microscopy. The beautiful power of fluorescence microscopy as well as the important research that utilize microscopes was showcased and discussed. Each student was able to assemble and take home their own portable microscope, in addition to other Imaging Africa goodies. The students were also given the opportunity to meet and dine with the workshop attendees, which was a valuable opportunity for the Imaging Africa attendees to positively influence the youth of Africa.
